We are pleased to announce the success of the second interdisciplinary faculty seminar in Kenya as part of the Global Partners Project. The Seminar took place Saturday June 23 - Friday, July 6, 2001 at the University of Nairobi. We were very pleased with the diverse group of participants. Like last year, we received an extraordinarily strong pool of applicants from an array of member colleges from all three consortia for both the Seminar at the University of Nairobi, and independent travel grants. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all who applied for travel grants and for the seminar. We certainly wish we could have funded all who wanted to go.
