Key to the Global Partners Project is the idea that liberal arts colleges can strengthen their international programs by sharing ideas and resources. No one college can do it all, but between them they can connect their students and faculty with the world. That's why the East Asia Regional Alliance has put together a database of campus resources for studying and teaching about East Asia. Many of the Global Partners colleges have developed rich resources, including faculty members, library materials, and connections with institutions in the region. This database can help colleagues on the Global Partners campuses connect and share those resources. For instance, they can find guest speakers for their college, library or art collections worth visiting, and campus curricular models. On the pages linked below you will find information about each college's faculty, special resources, institutional connections, majors/minors, and professional development programs related to East Asia. This information was gathered by by Mary Owens of the Japan Study office based on reports from the colleges. Japan Study provides an array of curricular and professional development opportunities for faculty members at ACM and GLCA colleges. Please contact ACM with any corrections. (Note: Pages for ACM and GLCA campuses are hosted on the Japan Study web site.) ACM ACS
