Resources
The Rhodes library has a Chinese section and a Japanese section of books. It orders about a dozen current journals on East Asia and Chinese studies. It also a collection of Chinese films.

Some Rhodes students have been to China for a summer or a semester of Chinese studies through CET and IES.

Professional Development

Rhodes has Faculty Development Endowment summer grants, for which East Asian faculty regularly apply and get to support their research.

We also have International Curricular Development Grants for participation in CIEE faculty seminars, several of which normally take place in China and Vietnam.
