In light of limited participation by ACS students, the consortium has decided to discontinue its Fall Semester in Turkey program. Institutions in the Great Lakes College Association (GLCA) and the Associated Colleges of the Midwest (ACM), who have been providing the bulk of the students, have been invited to take over management of the program.

In the wake of this decision, special thanks must be given to many people for successfully leading this program over seven years. This includes ACS, GLCA and ACM faculty who initiated the program, former program leaders, study abroad directors, our partners at Bilkent University and the Middle East Technical University in Ankara and Istanbul Technical University in Istanbul, as well as the staff at Birmingham-Southern, who administered the program and handled the academic credit.
